(Medieval Historical Bowmen Corporation)
The Association Corporazione Arcieri Storici Medievali is an apolitical and unsectarian cultural-sporting society, and it is a non-profit organization.
SOCIAL PURPOSE
The Association Corporazione Arcieri Storici Medievali has like social purpose:
the unification of the various historical bowmen aim, strategy and target, both in group and individually, with the aim of a real historical and medieval guardianship and diffusion all over national land.
to promote and to plead various historical cultural meetings and demonstration about Middle Age.
to experiment with collaboration with other activities, cooperating with other associations, federations and national or international groups.
ACTIVITIES
The Corporazione Arcieri Storici Medievali, formed mailing by historical bowmen ("searchers" and "novices") and masters craftmen, is composed also by other period characters and some medievalists.
The main activities that take place are:
study meetings that, together with the practice, form the Corporation's members. Studing help to enquire into knowledge of tecnical and historical aspects, comparing opinions, theories and record. Instead practice regards training instinctive bowshot, fencing with swords and taffs, and other medieval activities or games
the handicrafts take up Corporation's members in the manifactures of bows, arrows, clothing, accessories and other objects. Using old tool and tecniques, they work wood, leather, cloth and iron like medieval craftsmen used to do
the organization of theorical and practical seminars, meetings and conferences, convivals, and historical re-enactament
periodical
research and studies publications on the internal report, which is called
Corporazione
Arcieri Sorici Medievali.
The historical groups and the research and study groups that join the Corporazione Arcieri Storici Medievali mantain their identity, and they are stimulated to carry on their work, so that the global Corporation's knowledge is increased.
